Coffee Stain / Blood Stain Effect – FW8
I was looking for a way to make a blood stain effect but could find exactly what I needed. But with a mixture of it all I found this method to be suitable.
- I started off with a about 20 circles various sizes with ends overlapping. Selected all circles and added MODIFY>COMBINE PATHS>UNION
- Added a texture Parchment – 35% (the higher the percentage the less the edges will show) Added a filter: ALIEN SPLAT LE -EDGES. Edge Width – 10 or so, Margin – .44, Feature Size – 8, Edge mode – Torn paper, Added Motion Blur Any Angle, Distance – 3 – 6
- I then copied the final product and layered 4 – 5 instances of it.
